Role Overview
As an EW Lead, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Electronic Warfare (EW), focusing on areas such as EW Operational Support, modeling and simulation, EW software tools, Counter UAS Planning and Analysis, and EW Mission Planning. Key responsibilities include:
- Business Development Support: Offer guidance on EW matters, identify business development opportunities, and contribute to strategic planning.
- Product and Capability Enhancement: Provide insights on product improvements and capability needs to address operational deficiencies.
- Project Contribution: Lead active projects, deliver EW operational insights, and support development teams with your EW domain expertise.
- Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and train staff to enhance EW knowledge within the company and assist in customer demonstrations.
- Course Development: Contribute to designing training materials for the LCE EW Academy, covering topics from EW Fundamentals to advanced EO/IR/RF subjects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Expertise in Defense Systems for various platforms (Air, Land, Naval).
- Experience with EW Range operations, Mission Planning, and EW C2.
- Knowledge in EW Countermeasure design, weapon system analysis, and threat assessments.
- Experience in Counter Unmanned Air System Operations and awareness of threat systems relevant to Canadian Military and NATO.
- Familiarity with Open-Source EW material and a strong background in military knowledge.
- A willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Ability to provide instruction on modern EW warfare practices.
Security Clearance Requirements
